Multi-Level BGE Grid

I received the following message from Dave after I asked a few questions...
I purchased my large Egg for what I like to call "my personal cooker". I
wanted the option of baking bread, high temp grilling, and a smoker that would be easier to operate in the winter. I have four other smokers and sometimes cook for 20 -80 people at one time. I did about three low and slow cooks on this cooker and just couldn't believe how great this little smoker worked. One big problem, it's just too small!I built my contraption to double the capacity of the large Egg. I have done 10 racks of loin backs with the Weber rib racks, 4 large or 6 small pork butts, 3 brisket flats although I have to cut one in half, and about 8 pounds of jerky at one time. I have an additional rack that goes in the middle for an extra brisket flat or about 4 more pounds of jerky.
It works great and is easy to build. I think you have a medium Egg but also think a fellow could build one for this Egg too.
Features--the top rack is adjustable in height although I usually keep it level with the dome opening. The top rack will lift off to service the lower level of meat. I like to mop or baste and also glaze my low and slow meat. Another nice feature is that a fellow can get it all loaded up in the kitchen, and then take it outside and drop it into the smoker when the cooker is ready. Sure is nice in the winter. I need to add charcoal at about 10 hours on my cooks of over 20 pounds of meat and this setup is great for that operation. I just pull the whole contraption with my meat, stir the charcoal, add more charcoal, and load her back up. Only takes about two minutes.
The contraption is two Weber 18-1/2" grids with handles, grill extender from BGE in Atlanta, drip pan from K-Mart, 36" piece of 5/16" threaded rod, eight 5/16" fender washers, and sixteen 5/16" nuts. A fellow can build one in about an hour with just a hacksaw and a file or grinder.
I am going to build one for the small Egg. Do you have any idea of where I could find a couple of 13" grids with handles? I know I could make them but sure would be easier if I could find something that would work.
I will try your jerky recipe with brisket the next time I do a batch. I will also get you a picture of my triple rack setup when I do a large cook of jerky or brisket flats. I thought I would be smoking brisket this weekend but the folks decided on turkey and pulled pork.
I have included a picture of a mixed cook with my contraption. It is two butts and two brisket flats. I had to cut the flats in half to get them on with the butts.
Regards,
Dave (Old Dave)
