William R. Wise was kind enough to email me his excellent set of plans and instructions for his table design. Basically its similar to the BGE plans but has interesting changes he incorporated. A very nice illustrated and detailed assembly process. If your interested in making a table drop him a email and ask for the plans :-)
Cheers... C~W

From the Wise One...

Here is a couple of notes that I have included: Attached are the final plans for doing a BGE table. A couple of caveats.

  1. The measurements are to make the table top 36 3/4" high. If you prefer the surface to be lower, make the appropriate adjustments. The lip of the BGE is at 37 3/4". This is the real measurement that you should worry about. If you make the distance between the shelves 15" instead of 17 1/2" this will raise the lip 2 1/2". One reason my distance is so great (17 1/2") is that in addition to using a rather thick stone, I also use the little green feet that came with the BGE.
  2. The table is designed for a medium BGE. If you have a small or large  you may wish to adjust the height of the second shelf and the diameter of the hole. For a large, the top middle support will have to be moved over by at least two inches. The other dimensions of the table should not have to be adjusted.
  3. Wood dimensions sometimes differ. These plans were developed assuming 2x4s to be 1-1/2 by 3-1/2 and 1x6s to be 3/4 by 5-1/2. If your wood is different, make the adjustments.
  4. I would appreciate any feedback so I can incorporate it into my plans as appropriate.

Once cut, it's really easy to put together with power drill and screwdriver.  I used no glue, but obviously it could be used.
