12/20/99 -  Mustard Marinated Chicken


4 chicken breasts marinated with mustard for 30 hours - we were going to cook them last night and had something else come up.

Total time on the grill was  1.45 hours at 350 degrees on an indirect heating surface - 2 flat fire bricks, 2 standing fire bricks and a drip pan made of heavy duty foil.

 

Just before removing, the internal temperature was 170 on the largest piece.

For the last 45 minutes, I covered 3 of the pieces with BBQ sauce

Results – moist, tender and tasty chicken. My wife doesn't like charred chicken - this is the perfect alternative.
